    The Compound Restaurant

    The Compound Restaurant has a heritage rich in history and regional influences. Before its incarnation as a restaurant, this adobe home was the centerpiece of a group of houses on Canyon Road known as the McComb Compound.     El Pinto started as a seven table restaurant over 50 years ago, in 1962. El Pinto salsa, red chile, and green chile are distributed in local grocery stores nationwide.
