2022 First Half Of The Year Event Trends - EventUp Infographic
EventUp, the leading global venue marketplace powered by Tripleseat, analyzed all social, corporate, and wedding events booked so far in 2022.
EventUp helps restaurants, hotels, and unique venues capture new leads and increase event revenue by introducing social and corporate planners with their ideal venue location.
Each month, more than 100,000 planners come to the EventUp marketplace to browse through beautiful venues in search of finding and securing the venues that best fulfills their unique party trends.
Once the planners find the venue that will be perfect for their party, they submit a Quote Request which is sent directly to the venue to review and respond to. All communication is handled between the planner and the venue.
What we did was analyzed all of those quote requests and booked events to find common trends and averages. Because EventUp was designed to streamline and help all planners and venues, these trends can be viewed as hospitality-wide trends since the marketplace isn’t geared towards any specific city, venue type, event type, or even planner type - it’s the broadest range of event data found on any venue marketplace.
Event trends are ever-changing to meet the habits of party-goers, and we hope these trends will help you plan better events or help your venue offer up what planners are currently looking for in their venue search.
The complete list of event trends is listed in the infographic. Here are a few highlights:
