What is your couple’s drink of choice? For my husband and me, it’s Margaritas. Choose your drink and build a whole tasting complete with drinks and food pairings; plan on having four to six rounds of small tastings for your tasting. For our Margarita’s, each round we can customize with a new brand of tequila, mixer, rim flavors, or specially added flavors such as jalapeños or grapefruit. Sticking with the same theme, I would get different types of chips, salsa, and guacamole for our food pairings. To bring everything together, a main dish of quesadilla works well with everything else. Dim the lights, light some candles, and snuggle up on the couch with your very own private DIY tasting.
