4 Reasons Why EventUp Never Charges Commission On Event Leads

We’ve talked about Why “Free” Venue Directory Listings Aren’t Actually “Free” on some of those other venue marketplaces because they tend to hide your venue on their site, don’t do any push marketing towards your venue, then they will charge you a commission for all leads that your venue generates. Even after you sign up for a paid subscription, most packages do not include leads; they all have hidden booking fees of around 20% or lead commission fees. Packages that do include “Free” leads are often obnoxiously priced, ranging from 3,000 - 5,000 annually or even higher. I’ve seen packages being priced at more than $7,000 annually. 

EventUp never charges a commission for leads or booked events at any package level and here’s why:

Venue listings with optimized detailed content and high-quality photos tend to see more leads than those that offer little information or bad-quality photos. 

  3. We don’t believe in hidden fees of any kind. Our pricing structure is clear, defined, and guaranteed. You will never pay more than what you have signed up for. All three of our annual listing packages are competitive. Annual payments do include a 10% discount. That’s it. What you sign up for is the total of what you pay.
