5 EventUp Venues in Philly To Host Your Next In-Person Work Happy Hour
The Post
If you are looking for a venue on the west side of the Schuylkill River in University City or West Philadelphia, The Post should be your go-to spot. With over 7,000 square feet, there is plenty of room for a group of any size. Guests can try their hand at shooting hoops on Sixers basketball nets and play an assortment of other games. If there is a big game on, there are 11v TVs throughout the bar to make sure to catch every minute. There is plenty of finger food and tasty options to soak up the drinks throughout the night as well.
Juno
Making our way east across the city to the Spring Garden area, if your group is more interested in nachos and margaritas, Juno is the place to book. Juno is perfect for all temperatures with its enclosed and heated patio that looks like a magical garden year-round. The draft cocktails are not to be missed and pitchers of margaritas can be ordered to keep the beverages flowing. Don’t forget to order some churros at the end of the night to really feel the authentic Mexican atmosphere.
Triple Bottom Brewing Company
Just down the street from Juno, is a relatively new brewery on the scene, Triple Bottom Brewing Company. They are a mission-driven brewery registered as a Certified B Corp and working to employ people who have otherwise been excluded from mainstream hiring AND they create delicious beer! The brewery is housed in a rejuvenated historic railroad building and would be the perfect light and airy venue for your next work happy hour. They have tasty food options as well to complement the drink menu.
Urban Village Brewing Company
Another local brewery to check out for your next event is the local favorite - Urban Village Brewing Company. This Northern Liberties brewpub features “tank-to-table” craft beers brewed on-site and delicious brick-oven fired pizzas. They offer private event space as well as the option of renting out their standard picnic tables for a more relaxed atmosphere. In addition to their own beers, they offer a selection of local wine and spirits to round out the menu.
Morgan's Pier
Rounding out our options of great venues for hosting a work happy hour, is the top Philly waterfront beer garden, Morgan’s Pier. Open from April to October, Morgan’s Pier has been the top spot for outdoor summer eating and drinking since its opening almost 10 years ago. The venue can host your event from 25 to 250 people depending on the needs of the group. There are endless options for catering and bar menus to choose from.
