Six\West
This modern restaurant has insanely gorgeous views of the Boston skyline and is a phenomenal place to meet up for drinks. Located in the Cambria Hotel, Six\West is fairly new, as it opened along with the hotel in 2019. Their spacious rooftop offers a variety of stylish seating options, including vibrant yellow bar chairs, high-top tables, and modern comfy lounge areas.
At Six\West, you’ll be delighted with specialty cocktails like their Mr. Magoo, which is Hendrick's Neptunia gin, St. Germain elderflower, mango, lemon, and tajin. They also have a lovely selection of wines and craft beer and even can serve you a bottle of Veuve Clicquot! If you are hungry, be ready for innovative menu items made from fresh ingredients. Try some of their dumplings or tuna crudo. Delish! Reservations are required, so make sure to make yours online before visiting. And Six\West does a great job with events and private dining if you want to plan a larger gathering either using their rooftop or other spaces available.
Blue Owl
Take a short trip over Boston’s Mass Ave. Bridge, and you’ll be at the Blue Owl, one of our favorite rooftop bars atop the 907 Main Hotel! Blue Owl overlooks Central Square and boasts a fun, modern, industrial vibe.
Here you’ll find specialty cocktails galore with large format drinks to share like the Pale Blue Owl made with mastiha liqueur, vermouth, cardamom bitters, rosewater, and lemon. Try the Let Them Eat Cake cocktail with cognac, apricot liqueur, honey, and burgundy bubbles. When hungry, pair a drink with their globally inspired street food like their Korean Fried Chicken Wings or Peruvian cannoli.
Earls Prudential
With its large four-season rooftop patio, Earls is a favorite all year round. That said, what rooftop isn’t best enjoyed in the summer? Earls has a comfortable layout with cheerful modern decor.
In the heart of the city, Earls is perfect for a spirited summer night out. Earls’ bar is fully stocked with everything, including the summer cocktail of our dreams, The Strawberry Rhubarb Fizz, with Tito's vodka, Aperol, rhubarb, fresh lime, soda, green strawberry bitters, and meringue foam. Start with some Hawaiian Coconut Shrimp for the table with curry lime aioli. From there, opt for the blackened Cajun Chicken with garlic butter, warm potato salad, smoky bacon, and coleslaw.
