Corporate Swag Bag

Every corporate event has those little touches that make it memorable and the swag bag that you receive at an event is no different. We can all remember a swag item that we got at an event that was either useful and integrated into our daily lives (I used a good-quality conference tote bag as my gym bag for a long time) or a splurge item that we never would have purchased ourselves (my Bose noise-canceling headphones are something that I use weekly but never once thought about purchasing for myself). No one remembers all of the stress balls or printed items that are always either donated or recycled as soon as you get home.

I sat down with Tripleseat’s VP of Marketing, Latha Youngren, and asked her to put together her dream swag bag she wishes that we could either hand out or receive.

Perfect for taking lunch to the office or on a small picnic. You could even use this as the bag that contains all other swag items that you are handing out to guests.

Mini hangover kits

Tripleseat has been handing out mini emergency kits to new hires and at conferences and tradeshows for a few years now because everyone loves them. They are useful and take up little space so they are easy to throw in any bag. I keep one in my purse and my desk.

Deck of playing cards

Playing cards are super easy to customize with any logo or company pattern and everyone can use a new deck of cards. In my house, we keep several decks of cards and take them everywhere since they are the perfect game to take out to entertain kids at a restaurant, in between soccer games, or when we’re stuck at a doctor’s office too long.

Custom sweet treat - cupcakes or macarons

    1. Although conferences and corporate events can be both educational and rewarding - they often leave us exhausted mentally and physically by the end. Including a sweet treat, a small pick me up for guests to enjoy back at their hotel room or on their drive home while they relax and process everything they have learned. We also love this idea but it’s a fantastic way to incorporate a small business that is local to where the event is being held.
