The winners of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants (W50B) awards were released on October 5th, 2021, and we want to congratulate three EventUp restaurants for their remarkable achievement in the world of culinary arts.
The winners of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants are voted on by over 1,000 international restaurant industry leaders who have to visit each restaurant at least once within a set time period. Voters are comprised of food writers, critics, chefs, restauranteurs, and well-traveled gourmets who each only get 10 votes.
There are no set criteria that the restaurants have to meet in regards to food, years in business, or other culinary accolades. Restaurants cannot apply to be on the list, and cannot be nominated to be on the list, which means that all are restaurants in the world are eligible.
Let’s celebrate the EventUp venues that made the top list!

The three-Michelin star team at Atelier Crenn will wow you with the ultimate dining experience – a charming and intimate afternoon on Chef Crenn’s chic private farm.
The Icon Award Goes To -
Dominique Crenn from Atelier Crenn. Not only is she a world-renown chef, but Crenn is also an activist within her community.
“Crenn backs her words with actions: during the pandemic, she and her team cooked and served thousands of free meals for those most in need; she is helping to drive policy change around labor laws for the hospitality sector; she removed meat from Atelier Crenn’s menu in 2018 and is researching more ethical long-term alternatives; and advocating for a fundamental rethink of our food systems from chefs, producers and consumers alike.” - Worlds 50 Best Restaurants
