Yelp recently announced their 9th annual Top 100 US Restaurants for 2022. Yelp reviewers across the country nominated and voted on their favorite restaurants to help determine this list of 100 restaurants worth visiting. Five EventUp venues from East Coast to West Coast were featured in this list. Let’s celebrate the EventUp venues that made Yelp’s top 100 restaurants for 2022!

Coming in at #4 is Oriole in Chicago, Illinois.
Located in the West Loop neighborhood of Chicago, Oriole is a fine dining restaurant that offers a multi-course tasting menu. They are the lucky recipients of Two Michelin stars. The Michelin Guide considers it “one of Chicago’s greatest restaurants.” Oriole offers a lovely private dining room that can be booked for intimate events up to 20 guests. The owner and executive chef Noah Sandoval constantly surprises guests with a thought-provoking menu often including up to 25 dishes. For those looking for a curated beverage experience, expert mixologist Julia Momosé has crafted both cocktail and “spirit-free” pairings.
Coming in at #14 is Skull’s Rainbow Room in Nashville, Tennessee.
Skull’s Rainbow Room has been around since 1948 in Nashville’s legendary Printer’s Alley.
Many legendary artists played on the checkerboard stage of Skull’s in its early days, including the likes of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, and Bob Dylan. The Music City restaurant and nightclub thrives today despite a 17-year hiatus after the passing of its founder David “Skull” Schulman. Live jazz can be found nightly and burlesque shows fill the stage Friday and Saturday nights. The menu at Skull’s is a “casual yet elegant tribute” to founder David and the former fine dining establishments of Nashville’s historic Printers Alley. Diners enjoy lobster bisque, prime rib, and 14 oz New York strip steak. Large parties and events are gladly welcomed.
Coming in at #36 is L'Auberge Chez Francois in Great Falls, Virginia.
Originally opened as Chez Francois in Washington D.C. in 1954, owner François Haeringer had the dream of opening an “Auberge” or inn, similar to the ones found in his Alsatian hometown. He relocated to Great Falls, Virginia in 1976 where his son Jacques took over as Chef de cuisine when they opened L’Auberge Chez Francois on six acres of rolling hills in the Virginia countryside. The restaurant continues to be voted “Most Romantic” restaurant by Washingtonian magazine and Open Table subscribers. It’s the perfect venue for a special event or wedding that will transport you to the French countryside.
Traditional French courses of onion soup gratinee, beef bourguignon, escargots, and bouillabaisse will have you booking your next trip to France right after dinner.
Coming in at #52 is FoxGardin Kitchen & Ale in Fortville, Indiana.
This chef-owned gastropub is the 21+ venue of the FoxGardin family. The rest of the FoxGardin establishments are family-friendly including the FoxGardin Family Kitchen, The Den, and Smoky’s Concession Stand. Located in historic downtown Fortville, not far from Indianapolis, diners can enjoy live music and upscale comfort food. There are plenty of handheld sandwiches to choose from or anything from meatloaf to lobster cognac ravioli on the entree list. Check out their private dining rooms for special events or their food truck to bring the party to the location of your choice.
Coming in at #62 is Grey Ghost in Detroit, Michigan.
Grey Ghost opened in 2016 on the edge of the Brush Park neighborhood in Detroit. They are a self-proclaimed meat-centric restaurant that is “committed to the art of butchery”. The upscale neighborhood menu is known for their fried bologna which can be paired with one of their delicious craft cocktails. This trendy, modern spot is named for a notorious rum-running pirate who was a legend on the Detroit River during Prohibition. A great spot for a date night or an evening out with friends, even the pickiest person will have trouble putting down their burger.
