Where to Eat Near the Javits Center in NYC

After a long day of conference-going at the Javits Center in NYC, a satisfying meal is essential to recharge and reflect on your day. This large convention center hosts various events, including trade shows, conventions, expos, and conferences. While New York has no shortage of dining options, you may be wondering what your best bet is if you want to stay close to Javits Center. We’ve put together a few favorites that are nearby and offer wonderful dining experiences:

Legacy Records

Legacy Records

Steps from Javitas is Legacy Records, a warm and swanky space with Mediterranean crudos, pasta, roasted dishes, and a fully stocked bar.

Start with the Hiramasa crudo with radish, chile, and sunflower seeds. If raw fish isn’t your thing, the wood-roasted octopus is a worthy alternative with cauliflower and Sicilian broccoli.

We recommend the Cavatelli Verde with sausage ragu, pecorino, and fresh mint for pasta. Finish the meal with a prepared dry-aged beef ribeye with cabbage and fingerling potato. A wide selection of Italian wines and specialty cocktails are on hand to complement your meal.

Craft new York

Craft New York

Located on the north side of East 19th Street, You'll find that Craft has a warm and relaxing dining room. Open for dinner, enjoy one of their simple yet scrumptious menu items sourced from high-quality ingredients and local farms.

You’ll love any of their dishes, which can be joined together or enjoyed solo. Try their Buratta or one of their divine pasta dishes like the Pappardelle. Their seafood is sourced from New England, and they have lovely potato sides such as their Banana Fingerling Potatoes with rosemary and garlic. Order one of their signature cocktails or a glass of wine from their well-balanced collection.

The Meatball Shop

The Meatball Shop

Looking for a place that boasts having the best meatballs in the world? The Meatball Shop is located in the Lower East Side and has a mix-and-match menu that offers not only meatballs but also amazing shareables, fresh veggies, hand-made sandwiches, and scrumptious entrees like their Cavatappi Chicken Pesto which has a gluten-free option.

The Meatball Shop has a light and airy dining space and offers some outdoor seating, which may be what you need after attending your event at the Javits Center.

KYMA

KYMA

Located in Hudson Yards, KYMA is a modern and upscale restaurant that serves delectable and authentic Greek cuisine for both lunch and dinner. Their atmosphere is warm and vibrant. This popular place is known for its hospitality.

You’ll have a hard time choosing from their menu. Try the Pastichio Spring Rolls - pasta and meat sauce, all wrapped up in crispy phyllo. Their many seafood options, like the delicate whole-fish Bronzino, are impressive. Order some wonderful wine by the glass or one of their cocktails like the Cavo Tagoo, which is a Greek tiki-style drink.

Wild Ink

Wild Ink

Wild Ink is your best bet for an Asian restaurant near the convention center. Enjoy comfy lounge seating and tasty cocktails like the Remy 1738 with triple sec, Montenegro, lemongrass, and blood orange.

Order a selection of starters, including the Thai Chicken Wings and Foraged Mushroom Dumplings. The Peking Duck is the go-to main course. An honorable mention goes to the 20oz Creekstone ribeye and fried sea bass.
