Hi-Wire Brewing - Biltmore Village Taproom
Hi-Wire Brewing is a unique, industrial-chic venue, situated just two miles from the heart of 1 mile Downtown Asheville in Biltmore Village. Located next to their Big Top Production Facility and taproom, the 5500-square-foot brewery is the perfect spot for weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate events, luncheons, private parties, or simply to grab a beer.
Hi-Wire Brewing’s 27,000 sq. ft. Biltmore Village Production Brewery & Taproom opened in the summer of 2015. This location brings the brewing process to life by allowing craft beer drinkers to enjoy a pint of Hi-Wire’s approachable and balanced lagers and ales beside the tanks where they were created.
Located in the South Slope of Asheville, Wicked Weed’s Funkatorium is the East Coast’s first sour beer dedicated taproom. Featuring over a dozen varieties of these styles on draught, visitors can expect a total immersion into the old-world way of experiencing and appreciating beer along with a creative food menu.
Check out the updated outdoor space, Biergarten, with expanded seating and a design refresh! The total number of sour beers on draft is 22, and 34 bottles are available both in-house and to take with you.
Highland Brewing Company is a craft brewery in Asheville, NC, is the original craft brewery. Highland Brewing was founded in 1994 by retired engineer and entrepreneur Oscar Wong, establishing it as the pioneer of Asheville, NC’s now booming craft beer industry. With an established and inventive portfolio, Highland is known for consistently excellent beer. Proudly regional, the company is now run by Wong’s daughter, Leah Ashburn, and has grown to be the largest independent, family-owned brewery in the Southeast.
In addition to Highland beer, they also offer cider, wine by the glass, and a selection of non-alcoholic beverages.
Bold Rock Mills River Cidery, a premier dining destination, proudly opened its doors in October 2015. Located just a short 20-minute drive from Downtown Asheville, the Bold Rock cidery is nestled amidst the bountiful farmlands of North Carolina. When you visit, you'll discover the intricate process behind the cider, meticulously crafted from locally sourced apples harvested in Henderson County.
They offer hard cider tastings as well as pints, flights, and even local craft beer. The Bold Bites Mobile Kitchen offers freshly prepared food daily, and an expansive Cider Garden ensures plenty of space for guests to spread out and relax.
