10 Best Party Planning Apps for Event Planners | EventUp

If you’ve read our 5 Useful Apps For Event Planning blog post, you know we’re a fan of any party organizer app that can make an event planner’s job less stressful and more efficient. While our previous post may help you while you’re working on your event, we’ve decided to share more of the best party planning apps in our digital tool kit that will help you plan and prepare for your next upcoming event. We love that these allow you to do your job from virtually anywhere, because we know event planners are busy, and getting things done from wherever you are is key!


1. SUPER PLANNER 

 Super Planner is an app that has a bunch of tools to help you plan your next event, including calculators for capacity, staffing, and catering. It will make you feel like you have a virtual assistant in your pocket and save you a ton of time second-guessing yourself.

 

2. EVERNOTE

 Evernote is an app that is able to sync between your computer, smartphone, and tablet - making all of your notes, to-do lists, and checklists accessible wherever you are. As planners, we live by checklists, and If you’ve ever used sticky notes to keep track of your event details, you’ll want to download this app and start keeping track of all your event details digitally.  

 


3. CROWDCOMPASS

 CrowdCompass is a mobile app for your event that helps not only your attendees, but you as well! If you have a last-minute change to the agenda or need to get a message out to your attendees, alerting them using this mobile app is quick and easy. It also has an interactive map to help attendees easily navigate the venue. CrowdCompass also provides you with useful metrics after your event, and you can get rid of those paper event guides!

 

4.  EVENTBRITE

 Or any other ticketing app. If you are using Eventbrite to sell tickets to your events, downloading the app will allow you to keep track of ticket sales and attendee check-ins in real-time. You’ll be able to adjust and update your event from anywhere and will have access to a ton of metrics to help you maximize the success of your event, all from your phone.  

 

5. ADOBE SCAN

 Another favorite and useful app for any event planner is a scanner app. If you’re working from a remote location, and need to scan or save a piece of paper, having a scanner app on your phone is an easy way to make sure you don’t lose any important documents while on the road. It will come in handy more often than you think!

 

6. Social Tables

 The Social Tables app makes event planning simple. Create seating plans, diagramming your event, and checking in guests can be done through the app and speed up these processes by putting all of these event functions in one place.

 

 

7. PitchIn

 Planning your birthday party and need help executing the event? PitchIn is a great birthday party planning app - or a great app when planning any type of event - that allows your friends to easily help out. You can share your to-do list on the app and your friends can sign up for different tasks they want to be responsible for.

 

8. Asana

 For party planners with a large team, Asana is a great tool to use for collaboration. This app helps you efficiently divide tasks while also giving you the ability to view overall progress to ensure you stay on track before the big event.

 

9. Spotify

 Spotify is a great app to use for music streaming during your event. You can create playlists on your own or share the playlist with the other event planners so everyone can collaborate and add music they feel is fit for the event. Paying for Spotify Premium is ideal when using this app for an event because you can listen to your playlist ad-free this way.

 

10. MagicPlan

 When visiting venues, it's important to know the dimensions of the space so you can place tables, chairs, and other items in the right places. The MagicPlan app can automatically measure the rooms dimensions and create a floor plan using pictures of the space.
