The Country Club of Louisiana - Baton Rouge, LA
The Country Club of Louisiana’s Clubhouse authentically recaptures the grandeur of a Louisiana mansion, with Tuscan columns soaring to a roof of green slate. Handsome French doors and casement windows with wooden shutters adorn the outside, while the walls are finished in stucco. True to tradition, all principal rooms are on the second floor. Members of the Club and their guests may choose to arrive at the porte-cochère, where valet service is available. In the lower Entrance Hall is a magnificent chandelier and marble floors. From here, a gracefully curving stairway and an elevator offer a choice of access to the second main floor. Visitors pass the 38-foot high skylight in the foyer before proceeding to the heart of the building. The front door is accessible on the second floor by our traditional split, winding staircase. Once inside, the warmth of wooden floors and a wide hallway evoke the feeling of a home in the Old South.
