Happy Valentines Day!

It's February, which means that love is in the air! When you hear the words "Valentines Day," you probably either get butterflies in your stomach (if you're taken), or that unpleasant pit in your stomach (if you're single). Regardless of your relationship status and whatever that feeling in your stomach is, Eventup wants to wish you a Happy Valentines Day. Whether you're single or taken, we have a few ideas of things that you can do to make February 14th a day filled with love and happiness!

If you're taken... Rather than going out and spending the big bucks on an outrageous gift, do something meaningful for your loved one! There are tons of DIY Valentines Day gift ideas that you should definitely take into consideration. Baked goods are great, as well as small little crafts that you can put a little thought into! If you're not interested in getting creative or you just don't have the time, consider a nice card and some roses for your girl, or a box of chocolates! Colognes and perfumes are always great gifts too. Go out on a nice date, perhaps to your favorite restaurant or the venue or place that you first met. Make it special for the both of you!

If you're single... Don't mourn over the fact that you don't have a boyfriend or girlfriend to spend February 14th with! Sure, it may seem depressing that on the day of love you aren't feeling much love, but you are not alone! Do something special without worrying about a significant other! Hang out with your other single friends, or your family. Catch a movie, eat some Chinese food, and relax! It is not the end of the world, and next Valentines Day, when you're taken and having the time of your life on the 14th, you won't even remember this Valentines Day!

Valentines Day is the day for love. So if you're taken, show some love for your significant other, and if you're single, show some love for yourself! Either way, it's a happy day, so enjoy it with whoever or whatever makes you happy! What are your plans for February 14th? Let us know in a comment below, or on Facebook/Twitter!
